Ruby LeMorin

Ruby LeMorin seeks to provide clients with the highest-quality representation and is committed to understanding the industry in which clients operate. Working closely with experienced Polsinelli attorneys in the Capital Markets and Commercial Lending practices, clients rely on Ruby to assist with commercial lending transactions, private credit and cross-border finance transactions, documentation issues, securitization and structured finance transactions.

Ruby represents commercial loan servicers in connection with closing commercial mortgage backed securitization transactions and post-securitization servicing matters involving securitized assets. She provides valuable counsel to borrowers and lenders on business deals, acquisition financings and complex lending transactions and provides legal opinions in connection with a variety of financing matters. Ruby’s practice includes representing financial institutions, commercial borrowers, private funds, and alternative lenders in asset-based loans, secured and unsecured credit facilities, and private equity financing transactions.

Leila Diallo

Leila Diallo is an attorney whose practice focuses on advising private investment funds, fund managers, and institutional investors on strategic investments, fund formation, marketing, and regulatory compliance matters. She also counsels clients on the ongoing management of investment funds and represents buyers and sellers of private fund interests in the secondary market. Leila brings valuable regulatory and legislative experience from her work with the Enforcement Division of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Eastern Region, as well as her prior role supporting a senior member of the House Financial Services Committee.

Leila earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2023 with a concentration in business and finance. While in law school, she served as editor-in-chief of The George Washington International Law Review, Vol. 55. She received her B.A. in political science, summa cum laude, from North Carolina A&T State University in 2017.

Admitted to practice in New York, Leila also served as a Judicial Extern to Judge Craig Iscoe of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in 2023. Her publication, CFTC Releases New Blueprint for Enforcement: Higher Penalties, Monitors, Admissions (October 24, 2023), reflects her interest in financial regulatory developments and enforcement trends.

Her honors include the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers and the Service Recognition Award from the Student Bar Association, both received in 2023.

Antoine Southern

Antoine represents venture-backed companies across all stages of growth and industries, from companies started by first-time founders to growth and late stage companies. He routinely counsels clients on corporate formation and governance issues, venture fundraising, employment and intellectual property matters, mergers and acquisitions and also provides strategic advice at all points of a company’s lifecycle. In addition, represents borrowers and lenders in connection with unsecured and secured corporate financings of both public and private companies from diverse industries, including health care and biotechnology, consumer retail, sports, media and entertainment, and more.

Prior to practicing at HarvardLaw 74, Antoine practiced at leading law firms in New York City, Dallas, Texas and Charlotte, North Carolina, where he currently resides.

Makeda Osbourne

Makeda Osbourne is an associate in Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP Private Funds practice. Makeda participates in advising private investment fund sponsors in connection with the formation, structuring, marketing and operation of their private investment funds. Makeda’s practice also includes advising fund sponsors generally with respect to the Federal securities laws, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Makeda has experience representing some of the largest and most well-known private fund sponsors, including Blackstone, Carlyle and KKR. Makeda received her Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is admitted to practice law in both New York and Texas.

Tasheika Hinson

Tasheika Hinson is a senior legal executive with a deep background in leading leaders and teams. She manages and directs complex litigation, directs internal investigations, and partners with senior compliance, legal, and business executives to shepherd the implementation of strategic legal advice. Her experience includes leading cross functional teams and providing strategic legal advice to Fortune 500 companies and executives in compliance, litigation, government investigations, and internal investigations.
