Y'Noka Bass

Y’Noka Bass focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, employment litigation, and environmental & toxic tort. She has represented clients in a variety of matters, including breach of contract, employment discrimination, fiduciary duty, mass torts, premises liability, and toxic tort. Y’Noka is also a current Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she instructs a class of first-year law students on the importance of their professional identity and how to be ethical leaders in the legal profession.

Prior to joining GRSM, Y’Noka was an associate at a litigation firm where she represented clients in a range of areas including civil rights, class actions, trade secrets, and wage disputes. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Allen P. Walker in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County where she drafted legal memoranda concerning mass tort litigation arising from the opioid epidemic.

In her free time, Y’Noka enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, pilates, and spending time with friends and family.

EDUCATION

Dami Omotunde

Dami Omotunde represents clients in complex commercial disputes before state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Her practice spans shareholder challenges, breach of contract, business torts, corporate governance, product liability and other high-stakes issues. Dami’s experience extends across industries including financial services, life sciences and health care, technology, and consumer products and retail. Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Dami practiced in the Wilmington office of one of the world’s largest law firms.

Corporate Litigation

Dami counsels clients on disputes arising under Delaware corporate law. She advises boards, executives and shareholders on fiduciary duties, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder rights. Dami regularly handles litigation involving challenges to mergers, stockholder derivation actions, books and records demands, appraisal proceedings, and contested board or deal terms. 

She has drafted pleadings, managed discovery in high-value disputes, and prepared motions in multimillion-dollar shareholder and corporate governance cases. Her experience also includes advising on pre-litigation strategy to mitigate risk and protect shareholder value.

Commercial Litigation

Dami also represents clients in a range of commercial disputes. She has handled matters involving breach of contract, fraud claims, product liability and other business torts. She has worked on all phases of litigation, from drafting dispositive motions and discovery requests to preparing for hearings and arbitrations. Dami assists clients with early dispute strategy, risk assessment and settlement negotiations.

Leslie Luke

Leslie Luke is an experienced attorney practicing at WSHB's New York office. As a member of the senior counsel class, Leslie litigates a diverse range of legal matters, including product liability, premises liability, property damage, and contract disputes. Her clients include property managers, property owners, real estate developers, service providers, maintenance companies, product manufacturers, construction firms, security companies, and elevator companies. Additionally, she handles personal injury, labor law, and wrongful death cases in her practice.

Leslie is well-versed in all aspects of civil litigation, which includes investigating claims, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and taking as well as defending depositions. She has experience in drafting and arguing motions, as well as writing and arguing appeals in the Appellate Division.

Ms. Luke recognizes the importance of listening to her clients to fully understand their specific needs and strive for the best possible outcomes.

Clarence Webster, III

Clarence represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial, product liability, mass tort, and other high-stakes litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts across the country. His extensive experience in numerous industries and legal disciplines has given him the perspective necessary to help clients identify their most pressing legal and business issues, develop and implement effective resolution strategies, and achieve their core goals. Among other sectors, Clarence has represented clients in the energy, financial services, manufacturing, and real estate industries. His clients also include municipalities, government entities, and not-for-profit organizations. Clarence has significant experience defending employers in disputes involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, and violations of noncompete agreements. He has represented financial services institutions in Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP), and other regulatory compliance matters. He has also represented oil and gas companies in litigation and settlement negotiations alleging violations of federal and state environmental laws. In addition to serving as first-chair trial counsel, Clarence has served as lead attorney defending major class action claims and as a member of a national coordinating counsel team. Drawing on his experience as outside counsel and de facto in-house counsel, Clarence understands the priorities and pressures facing his clients and works closely with them to identify potential issues and prevent problems so that they can refocus attention and resources on their primary business objectives. In this context, Clarence regularly provides litigation-avoidance counsel and training, helping clients review labor and employment policies and handbooks, draft corporate bylaws, ensure effective board governance, and review employee, vendor, and other key contracts. A former adjunct professor at the Mississippi College School of Law, Clarence has taught classes on legal analysis and appellate advocacy. Before entering private practice, he served a clerkship with Chief Judge Henry T. Wingate of the US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Stefanie Major McGregor

Stefanie Major McGregor is the Co-Chair Commercial/Business Litigation Section in the Dallas office of Godwin Bowman PC, focusing her practice on commercial litigation matters. She represents clients in both the prosecution and defense of a wide range of cases before state and federal courts around the country. Stefanie’s practice covers a broad range of areas, with an emphasis on complex litigation, environmental and oil and gas litigation, major family law disputes (custody, property division, etc.), property disputes, and disputes involving trusts and estates. Notably, she was an important member of the Firm’s trial team in the successful defense of Halliburton in connection with all civil litigation and investigations concerning BP’s Macondo well blowout in the Gulf of Mexico, the largest environmental lawsuit in the history of the United States. Stefanie clerked for the Louisiana Supreme Court for one year and later became a Senior Research Attorney. Reflecting the excellence of her practice, Stefanie has been honored six times with selection to Thomson Reuters’ Texas Rising Stars, which recognizes the top young attorneys in the State of Texas. She received a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law in 2002 and a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 1999.
