Justin Scott

Justin O. Scott represents management in a broad range of employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower complaints, disability accommodation and FMLA issues, wage and hour issues, and employment contract disputes. He also has experience litigating disputes involving covenants not to compete.

Experience

Justin has represented clients in both state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies at the federal, state, and local levels, including the Florida Commission on Human Relations and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Prior to joining Littler, he was an associate at a national law firm focused on labor and employment law.

He began his legal career as an assistant public defender for the 13th Judicial Circuit, where he represented hundreds of clients in county and circuit court, including dispositive hearings and jury trials resulting in verdicts.

Education & Early Career Activities

While in law school, Justin served as president of the Labor and Employment Law Association. He also completed a legal internship with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Tampa, Florida.

He was a member of Stetson University College of Law’s nationally recognized trial team, competing in competitions nationwide and earning recognition as Best Advocate.

Jenipher Jones

Jenipher is a civil movement and human rights attorney and the Managing Attorney of For the People | A People’s Legal Office, LLC. She began her career in the New Orleans office of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) through the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship of Harvard University and the City of New Orleans Office of Independent Police Monitor (OPM).

Her work challenging the system of mass incarceration has resulted in binding affirmative decisions regarding the constitutional rights of prisoners in the United States. Jenipher litigates complex civil cases involving the rights of political prisoners, employment discrimination, and law enforcement and correctional officer misconduct. Her work in litigation and in the community has been recognized by the Clinical Legal Education Association (CLEA) and Denver Public Schools (DPS).

As a clinical law professor, Jenipher has instructed law students on the rights of prisoners, movement lawyering, and professional identity formation. She has been published both domestically and internationally and served as Editor-in-Chief of the National Lawyers Guild Law Review.

Jenipher currently serves as co-chair of the Mass Incarceration Committee of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG). She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Federal Advocates (FFA) and has been recognized as one of Denver’s 40 Under 40 young professionals. She is a proud board member of the National Conference of Black Lawyers (NCBL).

In addition, Jenipher has received extended integrative training in contemplative practice and social justice informed by the perennial tradition, earning a certificate from the Center for Action & Contemplation (CAC).

Alex Adewunmi

Alexander ("Alex") Adewunmi is the founding partner and managing attorney of Adewunmi Law Firm, PLLC. A former Division I student-athlete at Texas Christian University, Alex brings the same discipline, preparation, and competitive drive to the courtroom that he once brought to the football field.

Alex represents clients throughout the DFW Metroplex in complex commercial litigation, family law matters, and business disputes. His litigation experience includes breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, and real estate disputes. In family law, he provides strategic, compassionate representation in divorce, custody, property division, and enforcement matters. Alex also serves as trusted counsel to small businesses and entrepreneurs, guiding them through entity formation, operating agreements, and employment contracts to build solid legal foundations for growth.

Before launching his firm, Alex honed his skills as a commercial litigation associate at Wick Phillips Gould & Martin, LLP, where he supported high-stakes civil matters involving contracts, employment disputes, and construction defects. This big-firm foundation, combined with the personalized attention of a boutique practice, allows him to deliver what larger firms often cannot: direct partner-level attention on every matter.

Alex earned his J.D. from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law, where he served as President of the Board of Advocates and Staff Editor for the Law Review. He earned national recognition as Best Advocate and Finalist in the 2018 ABA National Employment & Labor Law Mock Trial Competition. He holds a B.S. in Film/Digital Media from TCU, where he was a Big 12 Academic All-American.

In recognition of his contributions to the legal profession and commitment to diversity, Alex was named to The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (TX) (2020) and has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters (2022–2025).

Outside the office, Alex enjoys hiking, fishing, and waterskiing.

Kevin Patrick

Margaret Lee

Margaret Lee, Esq. is a founding partner of The Camaj and Lee Firm, as well as a creative and entrepreneur dedicated to strong, client focused representation. Born and raised in Greenburgh, New York, she draws on her experiences as an African American woman to bring resilience, determination, and perspective to her legal practice.

Margaret earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, cum laude, from Howard University in 2011, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor in 2016. During law school, she gained valuable experience interning with the Westchester Regional Office of the New York State Office of the Attorney General, where she conducted legal research and drafted motions and briefs in matters involving state liability. As a 2L, she further developed her legal skills through judicial externships in the Bronx Supreme Court and the First Judicial Department, Appellate Term in Manhattan, where she conducted research, observed appellate proceedings, drafted judicial opinions and orders, and assisted judges with motion decisions and bench conferences. She also represented her law school in the National Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition and was actively involved in the Black Law Students Association and other student organizations.

After law school, Margaret began her legal career with Unilever in 2017, joining the Employment and Labor in house legal team. In this role, she prepares and responds to employment pre litigation matters, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charges of discrimination and complaints from various state agencies. She actively participates in mediations and fact finding proceedings and handles employee performance management matters across both corporate and factory settings. Margaret has also demonstrated strong leadership by supporting internal departments during Department of Labor investigations and regularly training Human Resources professionals on employment, labor, and benefits law topics.

In addition to her concentration in Employment and Labor, Margaret is also an entertainment attorney, providing counsel to individuals across the entertainment industry, including producers, artists, songwriters, record labels, and managers. She is passionate about helping her clients build legally sound foundations for long term success in their careers and business endeavors.

Outside of her legal work, Margaret is a self proclaimed foodie who enjoys exploring new restaurants and experiences, always ready to discover her next great meal.
