KlinTisha Martin

KlinTisha Martin is a Georgia native raised in Powder Springs. A proud alumna of McEachern High School, she is a two-time women's basketball state champion. She continued her academic and athletic journey at the Illustrious Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she excelled both in the classroom and in motherhood. KlinTisha graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science before earning her Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University, where she co-founded the law school's civil rights journal, further reaffirming her commitment to excellence, advocacy, and public service.

After re-locating to Georgia in 2022, KlinTisha fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming an attorney. She passed the bar exam in July 2022 and was sworn in as a member of the Georgia Bar that December. Since then, KlinTisha has served as a federal judicial law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. After transitioning out of her clerkship, KlinTisha worked as a family law associate with a small private firm before joining the Meriwether & Tharp team.

Outside of the office, KlinTisha Martin is a proud mother of two boys. She is a varsity women's high school basketball coach, member of motion running club, and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Alexis Coleman-Watkins

Alexis Coleman-Watkins is an attorney with Meriwether & Tharp, LLC who is highly skilled in litigating complex family law matters. Alexis is from North Augusta, South Carolina and attended undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Alexis was a natural scholar and was often recognized on the President's List and Dean's List. Alexis obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and graduated with Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement in May 2015.

After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina, Alexis began her legal studies at Charleston School of Law, in Charleston, South Carolina, in the Fall of 2016. Alexis chose to attend Charleston School of Law in part, due the school's mission statement, "Pro Bono Populi" which means "For the Good of the People." The school's mission was right in line with Alexis' core values as a person and what she endeavored to carry into the legal profession. As a part of the school's requirement to graduate, each student was required to complete 50 hours of community service. Alexis completed well over 50 hours and was highly involved with the school's National Black Law Students Association serving as the Southern Regional Director of Community Service, was an Ackerman Fellow for Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services and served as a LexisNexis Ambassador in her second and third year of law school.

Alexis obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Charleston School of Law in May 2019. Alexis was admitted to the Georgia Bar in November of 2019 and has been practicing family law exclusively since. Alexis is a member of the Family Law Section of the Georgia State Bar and the Gwinnett County Bar Association.

When away from the practice of law, Alexis enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, two children, and their dog Rocky and visiting friends and extended family.

Caprisa Clowney

LaJuanda Williams-Griffin

LaJuanda Williams-Griffin is the Owner of the Williams-Griffin Law Group, PLLC, a divorce, mediation, and family law firm with offices in Jackson, MS and Tupelo, MS. She is also the owner of D’Cracked Egg, LLC, a dine-in breakfast and brunch restaurant in downtown Tupelo, MS. Additionally, she is a real estate investor and landlord. She brings these personal and professional experiences while working with and advocating for her clients and customers.

She was born and raised in a small town in Central Mississippi, called Vicksburg. She grew up the middle child of three girls, raised by their then-single mother. She attended public school in the Vicksburg-Warren School District, graduating from Warren Central High School in 1998 with Honors. At the age of 18, she joined the United States Army Reserves as a Human Resources Specialist and was taught how to persevere and the true meaning of discipline and working toward a specific mission. Particularly, she learned there was humiliation in quitting and pride in enduring and succeeding.

During her military career, she obtained a B.S. in Mass Communications from Jackson State University because she had plans to become the next top ranked news anchor! Dispelling that assumption was her graduate school professor when he encouraged her that she should pursue a career as an attorney. Therefore, after she obtained a Master’s in Public Health and Health Policy (M.P.H.), she attended law school at Mississippi College School of Law.

During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Mississippi Supreme Court Justice, Leslie King and was a fellow with the Office of Capital Defense Counsel. She also participated in Mock Trial, was Vice

President of the Black Law Student Association, and was the recipient of a full tuition academic scholarship.

After she graduated law school and passed the bar, she opened her law practice and mainly practiced family law and other civil matters until she received a call in 2014 that resulted in her clerking for two (2) Hinds County Chancellors at the Hinds County Chancery Court. There, she gained invaluable experience in all family and domestic matters as well as other matters of equity, such as wills and estates, land acquisitions, business formation and dissolutions, and administrative appeals.

She is a member of the Mississippi Bar Leadership Class of 2022-2023 and is a nationally published author for the GP Solo publication of the American Bar Association, through which she has written about the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and its impact on matrimonial disputes. Additionally, was recognized and awarded by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of Mississippi’s Top Businesswomen for 2022 and awarded the Elite Lawyer for Mississippi in Divorce and Family Law for 2021 and 2022.

Today, her practice includes all domestic and family matters, to include child custody, divorce, and spousal support. She is also outside counsel for a nationally-recognized and awarded Mississippi nonprofit, Higher Learning Co., where she provides legal advice to the organization, to include, but not limited to: drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts; providing daily guidance to HPC involving highly confidential information; and handling complex legal matters for specific legal functions . Additionally, she is a Court-Certified Mediator to provide her clients with a less combative method to resolving disputes.

LaJuanda is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Academy of Court Appointed Neutrals, the Capital Area Bar Association, and a key investor of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce. She is admitted to practice law in all Mississippi state court and the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Mississippi.

Eleanor Hunt

I represent clients in divorce proceedings, adoption matters, child custody/visitation disputes, domestic violence proceedings, and child and spousal support matters. I also draft qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs), separation/settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements and prepare deeds. In addition, I counsel individuals and families on estate planning issues, including preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorneys and advanced medical directives, and I handle probate administration.
My Background I hold a law degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Before forming Lewicky, O’Connor, Hunt & Meiser in early 2019, I practiced family law and estate planning at Joseph, Greenwald & Laake in Greenbelt, Maryland, from 2011 through 2018. Prior to that, I clerked for the Honorable Sherrie L. Krauser in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, and then I served as a transactional real estate attorney at a St. Mary’s County law firm from 2005 through 2011 conducting residential real estate settlements, advising homeowners associations and condominium associations, and drafting residential real estate contracts, deeds and leases. I joined with my partners to form Lewicky, O’Connor, Hunt & Meiser in early 2019. Civic Involvement I am a former member of the Board of Directors for the Maple Lawn Homeowners’ Association and I founded the Maple Lawn Women’s Networking Group. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees for The African Art Museum of Maryland. I am also a graduate of the 2018-2019 Leadership Howard County, Leadership Premier class.
