Roodgine Bray

Roodgine D. Bray is a Partner with the Davis Bozeman Johnson Law. She leads the firm's Personal Injury Litigation Team. A native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Attorney Bray is fluent in Haitian Creole. She graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and earned her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. 

Attorney Bray has been admitted to practice in the State of Georgia, the United States District Court – Northern District of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia. Attorney Bray is a graduate of the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyer’s Leadership Academy. She is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA). She co-founded the Haitian American Lawyers Association of Georgia (HALAGA). 

As an undergraduate student at Clayton State University, Attorney Bray served as the President of both the Student Government Association and the Tau Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. As a law student, Attorney Bray served as an Associate Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law, Corresponding Secretary of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA), and a member of the Mock Trial and Moot Court Boards. She was a Trial Skills Teacher Assistant, Graduation Marshall, and Law School Ambassador. Attorney Bray was a BLSA Mock Trial Champion and competed in the BLSA National Mock Trial Team. 

She studied abroad in South Africa and interned at Roux de Wet du Plessis Law Firm in Pretoria, South Africa. She served as a law clerk for the Criminal Division Chief at the State of Michigan Attorney General’s Office. She also served as a Pro Bono Junior Associate in the Service to Soldiers Program, where she volunteered to help brief deploying troops. 

Attorney Bray empowers the community and youth by educating them about their civil rights. She has been a guest panelist at V-103’s “Know Your Rights When Encountering the Police” Town Hall Meeting and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated Henry County Alumnae Chapter’s civil rights forum. Additionally, Attorney Bray has served as a guest speaker at Clayton State University for “Remember the Titan’s Forgotten Faces,” – a dialogue about forgotten injustices and how to interact with the police. Attorney Bray has volunteered with the Save Ourselves (SOS) legal clinic, where she provided free consultations. Attorney Bray is the inaugural President of the Atlanta Chapter of SisterCARE Alliance – an organization created to support women and to promote social activism and self-care as a strategic contribution to the lives of women. The National Black Lawyers Association has selected Attorney Bray as a member of the 2017 Top 40 Under 40. 

Attorney Bray is married to U. S. Military Veteran Earl Bray, and they are the proud parents of their daughters, Elise and Elisabeth. She serves on the Clayton State University Alumni Board. She is an active member of Springfield Baptist Church, the Covington Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (CAAC), and the East-Suburban Atlanta Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. (ESAC).

McPherson Law was founded by Shevelle McPherson, Esq., as a Professional Law Firm. Shevelle McPherson earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. She earned her master’s degree in Trial Advocacy from Temple Law School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She formerly served as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia where she was a Trial Attorney in the Major Trial Unit.

Orla G. Thompson

Orla is a seasoned litigator concentrating her practice on product liability, mass torts, and commercial litigation disputes. She works closely with clients to assess potential risks, develop comprehensive defense strategies, and minimize exposure to liability. Her approach to litigation is client-centric, focusing on the client’s needs not only during, but prior to and after litigation. Orla has successfully represented corporate and individual clients across a broad spectrum of industries. She defends food manufacturers and suppliers in product liability cases across the United States, including class actions, and single- and multi-plaintiff claims. She also represents supply chain clients related to consumer product claims involving, among other things, lithium-ion batteries, immersive devices, laptops, tablets, gaming devices, sporting equipment, scooters, and medical devices. She also handles automobile, construction, premises liability, and contract dispute claims. In obtaining the many favorable outcomes Orla has achieved for her clients, she has worked with a multitude of experts and consultants across many disciplines, including FDA regulatory specialists, mechanical and electrical engineers, metallurgists, fire investigators, meteorologists, OSHA experts, medical specialists, economists, vocational rehabilitation specialists, and life care planners. She has a notable record of achieving favorable results for her clients during dispositive and discovery motion practice, at mediations and settlement conferences, and on appeal. Malcolm Conner

Kayann Chambers

Kayann Chambers is an attorney with The Cochran Firm DC., her practice focuses primarily on the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury.

She has always had a passion for representing those without a voice. A native of Florida, Kayann earned her Master’s degree from Florida State University. In graduate school, she focused on an in-depth systematic evaluation of the effectiveness of criminal justice policies, as well as the discovery of the socio-cultural, economic, and global certified roots of crime. She took her zealous passion to Florida A&M College of Law, where she earned her law degree and served as a law clerk for the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Florida. 

Her legal career began at a rated AV preeminent plaintiff’s firm in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where her practice areas entailed civil litigation and administrative law. Kayann’s legal experiences provide her with broad exposure in the legal field and with a transferable skillset.
