Brittany McKeel Young is an Millennial aged attorney and is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. She attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she received a bachelor’s in Political Science. She pursued her law degree from Southern University Law Center. In 2014, Mrs. Young became the recipient of the Louisiana State Bar Association Law Student Pro Bono Award.
As an attorney, she has taught several Continuing Legal Education classes as it relates to generational differences within the legal community. Attorney Young is licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana. She is also a Notary Public.

Brittani Booker Pleasant is a business, consumer, and civil litigation attorney with a proven record of local, regional, and national leadership. Pleasant served as the president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) for two consecutive terms. During this time, she led the organization through a period in which it achieved its largest membership since its resurgence a few years prior.
Before acquiring leadership positions in higher education, Pleasant attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. As a student, she received the NAACP Torch-Bearer Award and Scholarship, an honor recognizing academic excellence and demonstrated leadership. She also began mentoring other young men and women academically and socially during this period.
As an attorney, Pleasant continues her commitment to mentorship through involvement with the Circles Mentoring group, where she supports future attorneys currently attending law school. She also remains active as a mentor to a number of young women in the San Antonio community.
Throughout her career, Pleasant has received numerous honors and recognitions. These include being named the 2017 Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.’s Business Woman of the Year, Scene in SA’s Best Lawyer in 2018 and 2021, Scene in SA’s Rising Star of 2022, and recognition as a National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (Texas) honoree.
Today, she leads B. Pleasant Law, PLLC, a thriving law firm serving San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, and surrounding areas. The firm handles matters involving small business owners, consumers seeking protection, and families managing the legal needs involved in carrying out a loved one’s final wishes, continuing its focus on serving the legal needs of the community.
Attorney Morant earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University; and subsequently, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Her educational background, coupled with her real-life experiences, have provided her with several skills and areas of expertise. In particular, she has over seven years of experience in educating clients on various tax matters. In her career, she served successfully as a liaison between the Internal Revenue Service and low-income taxpayers. Furthermore, she worked with the Department of Treasury, where she proved to be a strong communicator, which allowed her to evaluate client situations and communicate effectively. During her experience, she has presented on various estate and small business topics and welcomes the opportunity to speak to additional groups in the region. Because of her dedication to forging lasting relationships with her clients, her mission is to provide a foundation for each client and implement a legacy that brings peace and solutions for generations to come. Ms. Morant also has a strong commitment to her community and demonstrates this through her various volunteering activities. She served as the Chair for the Homer S. Brown Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association and served on the Council for the Women in Law Division.
Jazmin G. Caldwell, Esq. is a Partner and Attorney at Elder Law & Estate Planning Solutions of the Piedmont, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related real property and business matters. With more than a decade of legal experience, Jazmin is known for providing thoughtful, practical guidance designed to protect clients, preserve legacies, and bring clarity to complex legal issues.
Prior to co-founding Brown & Caldwell Attorneys, PC d/b/a Elder Law & Estate Planning Solutions, Jazmin was the owner and sole proprietor of The Law Office of J.G. Caldwell, PLLC, which she established in 2013. Throughout her career, she has advised individuals and families across North Carolina on wills, trusts, probate and estate administration, asset protection strategies, deed preparation, and small business formation. She is also well-versed in contract law and real property matters, offering clients comprehensive and forward-looking legal solutions.
Jazmin approaches her work with a deep commitment to service and education. She believes that informed clients are empowered clients, and she prioritizes clear communication, honest advice, and compassionate representation. Her goal is not only to address her clients' immediate legal needs, but also to ensure they and their families are protected now and well into the future.
In addition to her legal practice, Jazmin is a certified mediator through the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and conducts court-ordered mediations and conflict-resolution trainings through her mediation practice. She also regularly presents estate planning and estate administration seminars for community organizations, churches, and professional groups, and has served as a CLE-style presenter and community legal educator.
Jazmin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Juris Doctor from the Florida A&M University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Jazmin maintains active involvement in numerous professional organizations, including the North Carolina State Bar, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, Cabarrus County Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She has also been affiliated with the Charlotte Estate Planning Council and has participated extensively in pro bono initiatives, including Wills for Heroes clinics and Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont.
Her dedication to service has been recognized by her inclusion on the North Carolina Supreme Court Pro Bono Honor Roll since 2016 and continues to this day.
Community Involvement
Community service is a cornerstone of Jazmin's professional identity. She has been a member of the Concord Rotary Club since 2015, serving in multiple leadership roles including President and Board Member. She has also served on boards and committees for organizations such as the Cabarrus Healthcare Foundation, Cabarrus Arts Council, United Way of the Carolinas Legal Advocacy Panel, Habitat for Humanity of Cabarrus County, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, and the Concord-Cabarrus Business and Professional Women's Club, where she has held several statewide leadership positions. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) News Editorial Board.
Jazmin was a recipient of the 2016 Young Careerist Award from the North Carolina Business and Professional Women's Club and has been featured in the Independent Tribune for her professional and community leadership. She also performed during the 2019 Cabarrus Arts Council- Dancing for the Arts program, where she and her partner were crowned “Judges Choice” Award for best performance. She continues to give back through volunteerism, mentorship, and public service initiatives throughout the region.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, where he was a Dean’s List honoree, a scholarship recipient for excellence in employment law, and a two-term National Law Student Liaison for the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association. He also holds a Master of Human Resources from the USC Moore School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Information Management from the USC College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management.
