Arthur J Jones, Esq., is a graduate from University of Florida's Levin College of Law as well as the Eugene Dupuch Law School of The Bahamas. He is licensed to practice in the state of Florida, the Southern District of Florida for the Federal Courts, and eligible to appear pro hac vice in the rest of the United States. He is also eligible to offer legal services in The Bahamas as a?registered agent?.
Arthur began his career as a public defender in Gainesville and Miami, Florida. Since opening The Arthur Firm, P.L., in 2008, his passion for protecting defendants in criminal court blossomed into a desire to protect defendants in civil litigation too. He has therefore expanded the firm's practice to the areas you see on this website. His jury trial experience is extensive and he has been featured in the New York Times, and appeared in The Miami Herald and on the Fox News Channel. He is also actively involved with the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Miami chapter) as a board member, co-chair of the Young Lawyers Committee, and their liaison to the State Attorney's Office for felony matters.
Arthur is also a member of the Dade County Defense Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Puerto Rican Bar Association, and the Caribbean Bar Association.
