Shaun Yancey is an experienced federal sector employment law attorney and serves as the Senior Managing Associate at our firm. He concentrates his practice in all areas of federal sector employment law, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination, disability retirement, retirement benefits, position classification appeals and reasonable accommodation requests. He has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Office of Federal Operations (OFO), Merit System Protection Board (MSPB), Office of Special Counsel (OSC), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), State Court and Federal Court.
Mr. Yancey received his Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in 2010. While at Emory Law School, he was the recipient of the Emory Public Interest Committee grant in 2008. He graduated with honors from Georgia State University Robinson College of Business in 2012 with a Masters in Taxation. Mr. Yancey joined Melville Johnson, P.C., in 2013 and is a current member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association and the Emory Law Young Alumni Committee. A native of Atlanta, Shaun is active in various community service organizations, such as the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
