Brittney Williams is a senior litigation attorney with Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, L.L.P. whose practice primarily focuses on labor and employment, and commercial litigation. Specifically, Brittney counsels clients on compliance issues regarding employee handbooks and policies, leaves of absence, reductions in force, unemployment compensation, and conducting management and employee trainings. She also represents employers in various types of employment disputes involving wrongful termination, harassment and discrimination, retaliation, disability accommodations, wage and hour, and employment tort claims.  Additionally, Brittney represents clients in a variety of commercial disputes, including claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, misrepresentation, and the Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

While in law school, Brittney served as a judicial clerk for an administrative judge of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and as a law clerk for the National Labor Relations Board, Region 31. In addition, Brittney served as a Co-Chair in UCLA’s Legal Clinic, and on the Executive Board of UCLA’s Black Law Students Association (“BLSA”) throughout law school. More precisely, Brittney served as the 1L Representative during her first year, Co-Chair during her second year – which won the title of “BLSA Chapter of the Year for the Western Region” that year, and as the 3L Representative during her third year.
