Founding lawyer Gregory Q. Carter was born and raised in the State of Ohio. He attended Wittenberg University for his undergraduate studies where he was a key member of the university's mock trial team. After undergrad, Gregory studied law at the University of Cincinnati. While obtaining his legal education, Gregory clerked at the Ohio Innocence Project working to free the wrongly convicted. In addition, Gregory spent summers clerking at the Fredericksburg Public Defenders Office, interning at the Federal Sixth Circuit, and practicing as a student practitioner in both Ohio and Virginia courts.
