Jordan P. Woody is in the Labor and Employment group of Thompson Coe's Dallas office. Jordan counsels and represents clients in both federal and state court and in administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies.
Jordan's litigation and counseling experience includes sexual harassment cases in the era of the #MeToo movement, as well as violations of various employment statutes including, the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Age Discrimination Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII, and the Texas Labor Code. Jordan also has litigation and counseling experience in Canadian employment law, including the Canada Labour Code, the Federal Labour Standards, Ontario Employment Standards Act, and the Pay Equity Act.
As former in-house counsel, Jordan has experience in all aspects of corporate human resources, including creating employee handbooks, conducting investigations, responding to employee complaints, and termination of employees for discriminatory behavior.
