Jamar Creech is the Founder and Managing Partner of Diversified Law Group, LLC. The law firm concentrates on private equity and venture capital, estates and trusts, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and sports and entertainment. After graduating from North Carolina Central University School of Law, Jamar clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Deborah A. Robinson of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia from 2010 to 2012. In 2016, Jamar began serving as General Counsel for Market Fresh Gourmet, a majority Black-owned community grocery store. He assisted in its initial capital raise of $10 million to operate two stores in Maryland, with the first slated to open in 2024. Jamar has been recognized as Forty Under 40 by the Prince George’s Social Innovation Fund. The National Black Lawyers has also recognized him as Top 40 Under 40 and Top 100 (New York). In 2018, Black Enterprise recognized him as a Modern Man of Distinction. That same year, he commenced legal studies at the University of Alabama School of Law, earning a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Business Transactions. In 2022, he became a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and joined Divine Sports and Entertainment. In 2023, Jamar, as lead attorney for the plaintiff, settled the case Velez v. Mitchell et al. (Index No. 654372/2020) in the Supreme Court of New York (Commerical Division), a dispute involving the popular battle rap organization, the Ultimate Rap League.
Danielle’s practice focuses on representing local and regional government clients. Danielle advises clients on matters related to employment law, public procurement, contracts, land use and compliance with the Freedom of Information Act. Prior to joining the firm, Danielle served as an Assistant City Attorney in Virginia for three years. As Assistant City Attorney, Danielle advised City Council, the City Manager, and Department Heads. Danielle also attended Court on behalf of the City to enforce code compliance issues and other civil matters. She was also the designated FOIA Officer for the City and assisted in the removal of blighted areas within the City. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Henry E. Hudson for the United States District Court for Eastern District Virginia and interned for a private firm in Newport News. After graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Pamela S. Baskervill and the Honorable James F. D'Alton in the Petersburg Circuit Court. Cliff Demosthene is of counsel at the firm's Chicago office and a member of the Diversity Committee. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, environmental and toxic tort, product liability, medical liability and general liability. Cliff also litigates in the areas of professional liability, premises liability, construction, construction defect, employment and subrogation. He has extensive experience litigating and negotiating a wide range of disputes and has tried cases to verdict in both civil and criminal courts.
Prior to joining Cassiday Schade, Cliff represented clients in matters related to municipal representation, chapter seven bankruptcies, landlord tenant and criminal defense.
Cliff is a member of several professional organizations including the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Haitian American Lawyers Association.
