"A fierce lawyer with a big heart", is how one would describe Chiquita Hall-Jackson.Chiquita practices in the areas of employment and family law, and has covered civil cases as well. She concentrates her practice on public law and servicing those at a disadvantage. In this capacity, she represents individuals needing civil mediation and assistance filing medical malpractice and personal injury. Chiquita also serves as outside general counsel to help individuals that need a mediator to assistance completing paperwork to begin the Pro se process.
As a first time bar passer, Chiquita continues to show her dedication to focusing on a task and completing it with unwavering dedication; this is the same fever with which she pursues cases. Past clients rave about her attention to detail and intense focus, both balanced by an undeniable positive energy that rubs off on everyone in her vicinity, even those clients who may stress due to having a lot at stake in the case at hand.
Aside from her professional accolades, Chiquita is devoted to philanthropic work; always with a legal focus. Influenced by her mother's career as a Juvenile Correctional Officer, Chiquita spends her spare time educating youth on their legal rights. After being exposed to the wrong that occasionally prevails within the justice system, she believes that taking preventative measures through acquiring knowledge is the only way to transcend. As an intern through Mayor Richard M. Daley's Kid Start program, she saw firsthand how to combine her passion and career to give back to others. With this belief, Chiquita hopes to eventually start a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing Chicago's youth to the legal system.
