Mark W. Bobb

Mark’s education and work experience spans across three countries (Canada, United States, and the United Kingdom) and ranges from working in the public service sector, in house, to private practice. He has worked with financial institutions, multinational companies and international law firms. His background experience has been consistent and progressive within the practice areas of business law, family law, and immigration law. This allows him to work effectively across practice areas and industry groups to unpack complicated matters in order to find the most straightforward solutions for his clients. Mark prides himself on being goal and solution oriented and brings that approach to the firm. Every matter presents its own challenges and Mark is committed to overcoming them. His commitment is present from a client’s first contact to the conclusion of their respective matter. Whether it’s a contract review or a TN Visa, Mark is thorough every step of the way. Ultimately, Mark just wants to help. Born in Toronto, Canada to immigrant parents from Guyana, Mark was raised in a single parent household with three siblings, including a twin sister with Down Syndrome. Mark learned at a young age that we all must do our part to help and so helping others has always been a mantra of his. However, at a young age he acknowledged that part of helping others is putting yourself in a position to effectively do so. While he wanted (and still wants to) assist the community through various service initiatives (like the Special Olympics, for example), Mark also wanted to assist the community through the practice of law. As a result, he worked hard in school, became an Ontario Scholar from St. Francis Xavier Secondary School and went on to complete four degrees – receiving Dean’s List honors, holding positions of leadership and receiving Community Service awards along the way. Further, he is licensed in both Canada and the United States, ensuring that he can assist clients in both jurisdictions (Ontario and New York State, specifically). Today, he is able to effectively help the community through his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and his multi-jurisdictional law practice. In his spare time, Mark enjoys life with his family, traveling, tennis, bowling, running and watching sports (specifically the Toronto Raptors and New England Patriots).
