A dedicated and efficient litigator with a strong yet compassionate approach, Blaique counsels clients on a wide range of litigation matters.
Blaique strives to secure the best outcomes for her clients. She drafts briefs, motions, memoranda, and discovery; assists in preparation for depositions and trial at the state and federal levels; and conducts complex legal research.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Blaique was a law clerk at Barnes & Thornburg. She worked closely with the litigation and government services teams on legal research projects and document review. Blaique drafted various pleadings and memoranda for clients and courts throughout the state of Ohio and on the federal level.
Blaique’s legal acumen is further enriched by her time in the University of Dayton Civil Law Clinic, where she gained hands-on experience in civil law matters. Notably, she was part of a successful team that won an adoption appeal before the Ohio Second District Court of Appeals, demonstrating her capability in appellate litigation and oral advocacy.
Drawing on her experience as a legal assistant for almost a decade, Blaique offers a well-versed background in litigation proceedings across a multitude of areas. She has worked for law firms ranging from solo practitioners to large national firms, which gives her deeper insight into the litigation process to better serve her clients’ needs.

ADRIAN D. THOMPSON serves as co-partner-in-charge of the Taft Cleveland office, a group of 65 local attorneys, and is a member of the firm's executive and participation committees. In addition, he has served as Taft's Chief Diversity Officer since 2015. He directs the firm's strategy regarding diversity and inclusion initiatives across Taft's offices and in the communities that Taft serves.
Adrian earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1986. He is an active member of Taft's Public Law, Education - Litigation, Employment Law, School Public Finance, and Labor and Employment Litigation practice groups. He focuses his practice on private sector clients' issues, including equal employment opportunity litigation, wage-hour problems, employment of the disabled, federal housing, and other labor matters. He also represents school districts in contract negotiations, grievance arbitration, litigation, education of the disabled, and employment discrimination matters. He is named as one of the “500 Most Influential Leaders in Cleveland” by Cleveland Magazine (2021-2024). In 2023, he was named a “Living Legacy” Award Honoree by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He is also honored as a 2022 “Notable in Law” by Crain’s Cleveland Business and recognized as a 2022 “Trailblazer” honoree by the Norman S. Minor Bar Association.
Adrian served as 2022-2023 president of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and is president emeritus of the board of directors of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. He is also a member of the Supreme Court of Ohio's Task Force on Commercial Dockets and serves on the Advisory Group for the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Ohio.
Depth and variation describe the public finance practice of John over the past 30 years. He has participated in traditional issue, economic development, and health care transactions and served as bond, underwriter, disclosure, and bank counsel for the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable bonds, notes and lease obligations in transactions throughout Ohio and Kentucky.
He has served as bond and/or disclosure counsel for every general obligation, economic development revenue, and water revenue bond issue of the City of Cincinnati since 2006. He also has served as bond and disclosure counsel for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for every general obligation issue since 2008. In 2017, he led the Dinsmore team which was selected as bond and disclosure counsel for the City of Dayton.
Additionally, he has served as bond, underwriter, and/or bank counsel for traditional issue financings related to schools and universities, transportation, and water and sewer projects. These include bond and lease structures for new money transactions, advance refundings (including crossover structures), and current refundings. These financings have included features such as governmental master trust agreements and subordinated debt.
As bond, underwriter, and/or bank counsel for health care & other 501(c)(3) conduit transactions, John has experience with financing structures involving master trust indentures, leases, and financing agreements for private placements.
Prior to entering into private practice, John participated in public finance transactions in various positions with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Taylor is licensed in Texas and Ohio and advises clients on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions. An alumna of the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Taylor is an advocate of equity for historically marginalized populations and is driven by a deep commitment to community impact and creating meaningful, people‑centered change.
During law school, Taylor was active in numerous organizations, including writing for the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law, and a member of the Black Law Students Association, the Sports and Entertainment Law Organization, the Intellectual Property Student Organization and the First-Generation Law Students Organization. In addition, she received the University of Houston Law Center Distinguished Service Award (2024), was a Leadership Council for Legal Diversity (LCLD) Scholar, and was the recipient of numerous prestigious scholarships, including the Association of Corporate Counsel Houston Scholarship, the National Association of Women Judges Access to Justice Scholarship, and the Houston Lawyers Association Scholarship.

In January 2026, Taylor was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Gray Road Christian Academy. She is an active voting member of board initiatives including determining strategic vision, policies, marketing, legal compliance, and fundraising initiatives for the August 2026 launch of the educational institution.
