Book Festival at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia Aims to Reach Young Readers

The Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia is celebrating its sixth annual Children’s Book Festival.

Every Tuesday this month, school children from the area are there to explore the museum, engage in activities and book readings.

“So it’s an opportunity for us to bring in school children from all five districts, coming to the museum, doing art activities,” said Faithe Norrell, Cultural Heritage specialist.
