Reggie Hill represents companies in high-stakes intellectual property litigation involving patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. He is a highly accomplished trial lawyer who also draws on a decade of experience as an electrical engineer to help global automotive, technology, and electronics companies assert their IP rights or defend against IP claims.

Often handling a client’s most complex technology issues, Reggie serves as lead counsel in bench and jury trials, appeals, PTAB trials, Markman hearings, and arbitrations. With his combination of litigation knowledge, trial skill, and ability to assess complex technology, his insight helps clients survey possible forums and understand how their issues may be received by courts, juries, and the US Patent Office. Reggie is known for his particular ability to try cases in multiple forums, fighting hard for the best possible outcomes in patent infringement cases in district courts, the patent office, and the Federal Circuit.

Reggie’s experience includes more than 25 years defending and asserting his clients’ rights to innovations across computers, digital communications, the internet, and emerging technologies. Before practicing law, he spent a decade designing computers for AT&T and working on digital video and audio applications and architectures for Motorola.
