She currently serves as Senior Counsel at Mastercard, where she leads regulatory strategy for the Americas regions of Open Finance and Global support of credit products, advising executive leadership on compliance, product innovation, and operational risk. Her career spans integral legal roles at Equifax, FIS Global, Beazley Insurance Group, and private practice where she has built a reputation for influencing effective collaboration, driving enterprise-wide compliance, managing high-stakes litigation and investigations, and shaping public policy. She has served as lead counsel for cybersecurity incident response and global regulatory change management across diverse sectors including financial services and data analytics. Known for her ability to translate legal complexity into actionable strategy, Candice is a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, board members and cross-functional teams. A graduate of Loyola University School of Law and Spelman College, she has been recognized as a “40 Under 40” alumna by The Spelman Messenger, named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for multiple years, and recognized as a Top 100 African American Attorney by the National Black Lawyers Organization.
