Kerona Samuels is a Partner at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP, where her practice is concentrated in a broad array of medical malpractice matters and nursing home litigation defense.
Prior to civil practice, Kerona began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, New York. She served the People of the State of New York for many years and gained extensive trial experience during that time. As a prosecutor, she was responsible for the investigation and trial of misdemeanor and felony cases. Kerona was also a Senior Associate at MCB before becoming a Partner at the Firm.
Kerona received 2024 Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch recognition for Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants. Attorneys receiving this honor are recognized by their peers early in their careers for outstanding professional excellence. She is active in the legal community as a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and as a member and past Executive Board officer of Amistad Long Island Black Bar. Additionally, while in law school, Kerona served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Association as an Executive Editor and was elected to the National Order of the Barristers.
