Jabril focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and capital markets transactions. He assists clients in executing deals and guides them through entity formation, governance, and other general corporate matters. He works with public and private companies across a wide range of industries including life sciences, biotechnology, medical technology, financial services and the nonprofit sector.
While attending law school, Jabril worked as a Summer Associate at Mintz, where he drafted by-laws for a pro-bono organization and reviewed corporate purchase agreements. He also worked as a summer associate at other international law firms, gaining experience with a variety of corporate law work, such as drafting opinion letters concerning transactions, consent letters for agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents. Additionally, he was a member of the Afro Scholars program for high-achieving law students from underrepresented backgrounds. In law school, Jabril was named a global law scholar and an opportunity scholar.
Prior to law school, Jabril led a microfinance project in Togo, overseeing loan applications, fund distribution, and repayment processes. He collaborated with local communities to implement structural changes that improved application rates, approvals, and loan repayment outcomes.
