Matthew C. Fallings focuses his practice on creditors’ rights, including residential and commercial foreclosures, REO transactions, title resolution, and ejectment actions. He represents corporate clients in both state and federal courts, utilizing his experience in litigation and settlement negotiations to achieve effective outcomes. Matthew has a strong foundation in contract law, insurance, and creditors’ rights law, and is known for helping clients feel prepared and confident, even in complex legal matters.

Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in 2012, where he triple-majored in Philosophy, History, and Women’s Studies. He went on to receive a Master of Arts in Philosophy and a graduate certificate in Women’s Studies from Stony Brook University in 2014, where he presented his work at philosophy conferences both nationally and internationally. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Penn State Law in 2018.

During law school, Matthew gained valuable experience as a legal intern with the Legal Aid Society of Columbus, Shoaf and Wencker, LLC, and the U.S. Department of Labor. He was also a finalist for the Moot Court team and served on the executive boards of both the Family Law Society and the Black Law Students Association. In 2020, he further expanded his education by earning an MBA certificate from Miami University.

Following graduation, Matthew served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jackie A. Bernard in the Blair County Court of Common Pleas, where he drafted judicial opinions and supported both criminal and civil proceedings. He later worked as a Prosecutor and Trial Attorney for the Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, handling matters involving violations of state and federal utility regulations.

Matthew is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. Outside of his legal work, he enjoys playing chess and guitar, as well as exploring nature trails. He is originally from Centerville, Ohio.
