
Traelon is a litigation associate in the firm’s Dallas office. He represents clients
in complex commercial disputes, internal and government investigations, and
high-stakes appellate matters. Traelon brings a disciplined approach to written
advocacy, strategic issue analysis, and risk-sensitive counseling across industries
and regulatory environments.
Traelon is known for his ability to distill complex factual and legal landscapes into clear, persuasive arguments for
courts and actionable guidance for clients. He partners with litigation teams to develop case strategy, assess risk, and
deliver work product that meets the pace and pressure of significant commercial, regulatory, and reputational matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Traelon served as a judicial clerk for U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Texas.

Traelon handles disputes at every stage of litigation in state and federal courts, from early case assessment through
post-judgment strategy. His practice centers on motion practice and persuasive briefing, including motions to dismiss,
oppositions, and record-intensive submissions. He is skilled at building arguments from complex factual records and
presenting them in a way that advances the client’s position clearly and efficiently.
Traelon maintains an active appellate practice, advising on post-judgment strategy, standards of review, issue
preservation, and enforcement risk. He has experience with petitions for rehearing and strategic planning following
adverse rulings, with a focus on protecting client interests through each phase of the appellate process.
In the investigations space, Traelon supports clients facing government inquiries and internal reviews. He helps
identify risk areas, develop investigative frameworks, and synthesize findings for senior decision-makers. His work in
this area includes corporate policy analysis, witness preparation, and the development of internal memoranda that
frame key issues and guide next steps.
Traelon regularly counsels clients on emerging regulatory and enforcement trends, including subpoena response
strategy, multijurisdictional litigation exposure, and shifting enforcement priorities. He is adept at translating complex
legal developments into concise, business-focused guidance that enables informed decision-making.
Traelon advises on crisis-response and stakeholder engagement matters, helping clients navigate time-sensitive
situations that demand coordinated, accurate, and risk-aware communications across internal and external audiences.
