Maya received her J.D. from Southern University Law Center, where she served as a member of the Moot Court Board. While in law school, Maya interned with AbbVie Inc., where she worked hands-on with patent prosecution and litigation matters. Maya also interned with a law office, where she worked on family and criminal law matters.
