Matthew Vaughn is an attorney in the Business Section of Hand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC, where his practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions and real estate development. He represents developers, property owners, purchasers, sellers, builders, and lenders in a broad range of real estate matters, including the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of real property. Matthew's practice includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and other real estate transaction documents, assisting clients with business entity formation in connection with real estate transactions, conducting due diligence, reviewing and resolving complex title and survey issues, and assisting clients throughout the acquisition, development, and closing process. He also advises clients on easements, restrictive covenants, land use and zoning matters, development entitlements, property owners' associations, and other matters affecting the ownership, development, and use of real property. Matthew also serves as an authorized title insurance issuing attorney for several national title insurance underwriters and regularly assists clients with title insurance matters involving commercial and residential real estate transactions. Matthew earned his Juris Doctor from Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2020 and his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of South Alabama in 2012. He is admitted to practice law in Alabama.
