ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $93,808 - $146,575
ANNUAL ANTICIPATED HIRING RANGE: $110,000 - $135,000

The City Attorney's Office is seeking an Assistant City Attorney II to serve as general counsel to City Council, City officers, employees, and appointed board and commission members while providing written and oral advice and representation for the City in negotiations and other matters. The Assistant City Attorney II position will principally represent and advise management and staff in the City's Planning, Development, and Transportation (PDT) Service Area, Utilities Light and Power, Customer Connections, Strategic Finance, and Broadband. This position fulfills a hybrid workplace schedule.
Ideally, applicants will have experience in both PDT and Utilities matters. However, applicants with experience advising in PDT matters but not Utilities, and vice versa, and who have the desire and ability to learn and grow into the other practice area are encouraged to apply. Education and experience required:
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney with experience in the principal subjects
• Current license to practice law in Colorado or immediate eligibility to secure bar admission
