General Personal Injury Associate
An AV rated Tampa Bay area law firm specializing in the area of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury is looking for an associate attorney to add to our team. Our firm is built upon a solid foundation of experienced, committed personal injury attorneys and professional support staff. About You
You have at least 2+ years of experience as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney. You have a passion to help our clients through their case by working on their Pre-suit and litigation case. You must be comfortable working outside your comfort zone, have a curious nature, want to have fun, love learning new things, have great collegiality with office team members and possess an innate desire to become the best litigator you can be. You are smart, energetic and have a great work ethic. You also must have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Our goal for you is for you to be autonomous, control your own schedule and be able to create a healthy work/life balance, because at the end of the day, family comes first.
Must have experience:
Handling from inception and negotiating pre-suit cases
Attending depositions, hearings, mediations,
Taking depositions
Preparing clients
Reviewing medical records
Answering discovery
Doing dictation
Reviewing closing statements for accuracy
Trial experience is preferred but not required
A Florida Bar license is a requirement for this position.
