Mrs. Asia Scarlett-Jones, Esq. is the Founder and Managing Attorney at ASJ Law Office. She earned her J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law and her B.A. from University at Albany. Prior to venturing into private practice, Mrs. Scarlett-Jones worked as a public defender at Nassau County Legal Aid Society representing and defending parents in child support and child custody matters.
Thereafter, Mrs. Scarlett-Jones served as a Principal Court Attorney in Nassau County Family Court. As a Court Attorney, she worked directly with a Family Court Judge in conferencing court cases and assisting in writing Court decisions. After practicing years in the public sector, Mrs. Scarlett-Jones founded ASJ Law Office. ASJ Law Office provides affordable legal assistance for the “underrepresented families” who are unfortunately, subjected to the plights of the legal system.
The ASJ Law Office focuses on practice areas of Family and Matrimonial Law, Family Law Mediation, as well as Estate Planning. Mrs. Scarlett-Jones currently serves as Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
