C. Harrison Cooper focuses his practice on commercial leasing, real estate acquisition and sales, land use planning and zoning entitlements, and related corporate transactions. He represents individual and institutional clients in a wide variety of real estate matters, including pro-landlord or client leases for retail, office and industrial spaces, the acquisition or sale of every type and class of real estate, and securing local and state special and conditional land use approvals. He has experience in multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions throughout the country. His experience includes acting as lead counsel for the due diligence, negotiation and drafting of leases, zoning analyses, and liquor, business license and zoning and planned development applications, for local, national and foreign clients. Relatedly, he has appeared before city and suburban zoning boards of appeals and zoning committees and conducted administrative hearings before the Chicago Department of Administrative Hearings to remedy municipal code violations.
