Capri Reid is a media, entertainment, and tech attorney specializing in intellectual property, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance. She serves as Commercial Counsel at Forbes, advising on global matters, including licensing, distribution, ad tech, live events, and product development across its media and commerce businesses.
Previously, she was Corporate Counsel at Ziff Davis, supporting M&A, privacy, and commercial initiatives. She also launched the company’s first in-house pro bono program, expanding access to legal services for underserved communities.
Capri began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, gaining trial experience and building a strong foundation in litigation and public service. She is CIPP/US certified, proficient in Spanish, and integrates software engineering skills into her legal practice to develop scalable, tech-forward tools that improve efficiency and support business operations.
