Desireé Marie Bedasa is committed to helping families facing challenging family law issues, such as divorce. Due to her own personal experiences growing up, Desireé is inspired to advocate for those who are unable to advocate for themselves, primarily children. As an individual who did not experience a "traditional" upbringing, Desireé knows the potential trauma of a child being caught in the middle of a custody battle. She has dedicated her career to assisting families with children determine what solution is in the best interest of a child.

Desireé is dedicated to and experienced at advocating for families in a wide range of family cases, such as divorce, child custody, enforcement of custody and visitation, child support, and adoptions. In addition, Desireé is trained in family law mediation.

Desireé received her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. While in law school, she volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Desireé is also a Teach for America Alum, having taught Special Education; during that time, she started the school’s first Student Council. Prior to starting Desireé Bedasa, PLLC, Desireé was a managing attorney and founding partner of Nwofia Bedasa, PLLC, an Associate Attorney at Hargrave Family Law and the managing attorney for Angela Faye Brown & Associates’ Austin office. Desireé lives in Richardson, Texas, with her husband and two children. She is a member of several organizations, including the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Junior League of Richardson.

A staunch advocate for children and families, Desireé tirelessly works on behalf children, being inspired by becoming a mother herself.
