
Diamond Z. Rowell is a Charlotte, N.C., native who obtained her bachelor’s degree in political science from Howard University in 2016. After working as a legal assistant for three years, Ms. Rowell attended North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Ms. Rowell served as a Civil Procedure tutor to first year law students and as Notes & Comments editor of the NCCU Law Review. Ms. Rowell also held a summer internship at the United States Attorney’s Office’s Appellate Division in the Eastern District of North Carolina. During Ms. Rowell’s third year of law school, Ms. Rowell served as a certified legal intern in NCCU’s Civil Litigation Clinic. Ms. Rowell graduated from NCCU Law with the highest honors of summa cum laude in May of 2022. Ms. Rowell is excited to have relocated to Wilmington, N.C., to join the Hamlet Law team. Ms. Rowell enjoys traveling and trying new recipes in her free time.
