Donna Bunch Coaxum, CPA, JD is Chief Legal Officer of OSI Group, LLC where she directs all aspects of the legal and compliance functions supporting this nearly $9 Billion global consumer products food manufacturer comprised of 100+ entities, 50+ manufacturing facilities, and 19,000+ employees in 17 countries spanning 4 continents. She also heads the corporate crisis team where she helped develop a mobile crisis application which serves the company globally to help protect it from legal, regulatory, and financial risks. Prior to joining OSI, she worked as an attorney for Kraft Foods, Oscar Mayer, Sears Roebuck, Willis Towers Watson, and in the private sector. Prior to her legal career, Donna worked as an Accountant for Public Service Indiana, Ameritech and Illinois Bell. She is a Board Member of the OSI Group Foundation, Executive Service Corp, and Chicago State Foundation, and a member of the second Leadership Greater Madison Class in Madison, Wisconsin. She is a former Board Member of the Chicago Boys and Girls Club, Moore College of Art and Design (Philadelphia, PA), The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (Naperville/Aurora, IL) and the Madison Wisconsin Civic Center Foundation. She is also a former member of the American Meat Institute Regulatory Affairs Committee and former Advisory Board member of REIMAGE® Beauty Company.

Donna is a former Diversity Section Editor for the American Bar Association’s Litigation Pro Bono and Public Interest Newsletter having authored the following articles: Spring 2011 – Empowering the Next Generation of Community Service Leaders; and Fall 2012 – Passion Plus: Imperatives for Effective Community Service. She is the author of the books titled: 1) Dear Wives, Your Husbands Want A Girlfriend, Too, 2) Do You Have All Your Marbles, and 3) The Mommy Tracker...(and Daddy’s too)!. She is also a contributing author to the following books: 1) Dear Sisters, Dear Daughters: Words of Wisdom From Multicultural Women Attorneys Who’ve Been There and Done That, published by the American Bar Association, and 2) The Corporate Legal Compliance Handbook, published by Aspen Publishers. Donna has received various awards and served as a speaker to various organizations including the Chicago Urban League, POWER, Corporate Counsel Women of Color, National Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Thomson Reuters, Women’s Energy Summit, and the Rhode Island Black Business Association (RIBBA), to name a few. She has been featured in Crain’s Business, Profile Magazine and Ebony Magazine.

Donna received her Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Accounting from Purdue University and her Certified Public Accountant designation in the State of Illinois. She received her Law Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison on a full fellowship and is a member of the Bar in Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California (where she was selected, based on her Bar Exam score, to grade the California Bar Exam and graded it for 3 years). Donna holds membership in the National Bar Association, American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Corporate Counsel Women of Color, Women General Counsel Network, The Links, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and The Girl Friends, Inc. She enjoys writing, motivational speaking, travel, sports and learning new things. She is a proud mother and wife.
