Emanuel (Manny) McMiller helps companies resolve and manage disputes in litigation, partnering with clients to achieve their business goals and avoid business disruption.
Commercial Litigation Manny represents a wide range of commercial clients in breach of contract, product liability, tort and trade secrets disputes.
UPMIFA/Institutional Funds Manny represents clients in actions involving institutional funds. He also advises nonprofit organizations on compliance with the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA).
COVID-19 Pandemic Response During the COVID-19 pandemic, Manny was a significant contributor to the Faegre Drinker Coronavirus Resource Center, coordinating a team of over 30 professionals tracking state and local government actions across the country.
Past Experience Manny spent two summers at the firm as a summer associate. During law school, Manny also gained insight into the processes, decisions and legal issues that drive local government while serving as a legal extern with the City of South Bend Legal Department. Additionally, he served as President of the Notre Dame Space Law Society. Prior to law school, he served as a legal assistant with a personal injury firm in West Palm Beach, Florida.
