Janelle L. Winston, Esq., is a highly accomplished attorney with extensive experience in labor relations and advocacy. Since 2016, she has served as Labor Relations Counsel at the National Football League (NFL), where she oversees the administration of key policies and programs while representing the NFL and its Member Clubs in labor-management disputes. Previously, Janelle served as Senior Labor Attorney at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority-New York City Transit and began her legal career in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office in the Child Abuse/Sex Crimes Bureau. Passionate about supporting education, she founded the JL Winston Foundation, a nonprofit providing scholarships and mentorship to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Dedicated to integrity in sports, she also serves on the Board of Governors for the Partnership for Clean Competition. Janelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Tennessee State University and a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.
