Jaycee Parker is a litigation associate at King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano. Her practice covers a wide range of entertainment, intellectual property, and business dispute matters in state and federal court. Jaycee previously practiced as a litigation associate at two international law firms.
Primary Focus & Experience
Jaycee's practice focuses on entertainment and intellectual property litigation. Prior to joining KHPS, Jaycee practiced as a Los Angeles-based defense attorney. Her pro bono practice included significant wrongful conviction work alongside organizations such as the Innocence Project. Jaycee has trial experience in both state and federal courts, previously serving as trial counsel in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She has been published in Bloomberg Law and Law360.
Jaycee earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she served on the executive board of the Black Allied Law Students Association (BALSA). During law school, Jaycee advocated to end solitary confinement in New York jails and co-taught a legal research and advocacy course to women incarcerated at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in upstate New York. As a member of NYU’s Civil Rights Clinic, Jaycee advocated around school desegregation, employment discrimination, and policing. She subsequently served as a student attorney in NYU’s Juvenile Defense Clinic, where she worked in The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice to represent youth accused of crimes in New York County. Jaycee was also selected for NYU’s Social Sector Leadership Diversity Fellowship.
Prior to law school, Jaycee worked as an Investigative Analyst at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she investigated police misconduct and public integrity cases in the Public Corruption Unit.
Jaycee earned her B.A. from Columbia University in Psychology and African-American Studies.
