Jazmin G. Caldwell, Esq. is a Partner and Attorney at Elder Law & Estate Planning Solutions of the Piedmont, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related real property and business matters. With more than a decade of legal experience, Jazmin is known for providing thoughtful, practical guidance designed to protect clients, preserve legacies, and bring clarity to complex legal issues.

Prior to co-founding Brown & Caldwell Attorneys, PC d/b/a Elder Law & Estate Planning Solutions, Jazmin was the owner and sole proprietor of The Law Office of J.G. Caldwell, PLLC, which she established in 2013. Throughout her career, she has advised individuals and families across North Carolina on wills, trusts, probate and estate administration, asset protection strategies, deed preparation, and small business formation. She is also well-versed in contract law and real property matters, offering clients comprehensive and forward-looking legal solutions.

Jazmin approaches her work with a deep commitment to service and education. She believes that informed clients are empowered clients, and she prioritizes clear communication, honest advice, and compassionate representation. Her goal is not only to address her clients' immediate legal needs, but also to ensure they and their families are protected now and well into the future.

In addition to her legal practice, Jazmin is a certified mediator through the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and conducts court-ordered mediations and conflict-resolution trainings through her mediation practice. She also regularly presents estate planning and estate administration seminars for community organizations, churches, and professional groups, and has served as a CLE-style presenter and community legal educator.

Jazmin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Juris Doctor from the Florida A&M University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Professional Commitment

Jazmin maintains active involvement in numerous professional organizations, including the North Carolina State Bar, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, Cabarrus County Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She has also been affiliated with the Charlotte Estate Planning Council and has participated extensively in pro bono initiatives, including Wills for Heroes clinics and Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont.

Her dedication to service has been recognized by her inclusion on the North Carolina Supreme Court Pro Bono Honor Roll since 2016 and continues to this day.

Community Involvement

Community service is a cornerstone of Jazmin's professional identity. She has been a member of the Concord Rotary Club since 2015, serving in multiple leadership roles including President and Board Member. She has also served on boards and committees for organizations such as the Cabarrus Healthcare Foundation, Cabarrus Arts Council, United Way of the Carolinas Legal Advocacy Panel, Habitat for Humanity of Cabarrus County, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, and the Concord-Cabarrus Business and Professional Women's Club, where she has held several statewide leadership positions. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) News Editorial Board.

Jazmin was a recipient of the 2016 Young Careerist Award from the North Carolina Business and Professional Women's Club and has been featured in the Independent Tribune for her professional and community leadership. She also performed during the 2019 Cabarrus Arts Council- Dancing for the Arts program, where she and her partner were crowned “Judges Choice” Award for best performance. She continues to give back through volunteerism, mentorship, and public service initiatives throughout the region.
