Kenisha Morgan

Member Details

Kenisha Rajah Morgan is an Associate in the West Palm Beach office, where she focuses her practice on medical malpractice, professional malpractice, premises liability, and personal injury defense matters. With extensive courtroom experience and a strong litigation background, she is known for her strategic advocacy and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients.

Ms. Morgan earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida A&M University College of Law, where she consistently made the Dean’s List and was recognized with the Rising Star Award in 2018 for her academic excellence, leadership, and service. During law school, she was actively involved in several student organizations and demonstrated a strong dedication to both professional development and community engagement.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Morgan served as an Assistant Public Defender in West Palm Beach, where she handled more than three dozen jury and non-jury trials and argued numerous substantive motions. Her trial experience sharpened her advocacy skills and laid the foundation for her effective and confident litigation practice.

In recognition of her professional accomplishments and leadership within the legal community, Ms. Morgan was selected by The National Black Lawyers as one of the “Top 40 Under 40 Lawyers in Florida” for 2026–2027. This invitation-only distinction honors outstanding African American attorneys who exemplify excellence in legal representation, professional achievement, and community leadership.

Ms. Morgan is actively involved in several legal and professional organizations, including The Florida Bar, the Florida Rules of Procedure Committee for The Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the F. Malcolm Cunningham Bar Association, the Sheree Davis Cunningham Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and The National Black Lawyers.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in English Writing, magna cum laude, from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
