
Lauryn is an associate in the Austin office. Her practice focuses on renewable energy transactions such as the acquisition and sale of renewable energy projects, joint ventures, project development, and matters concerning engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements. Her practice also involves representing lenders, including bilateral and multilateral development finance agencies, and borrowers in structuring, negotiating, documenting, and implementing domestic and international project financings.
Professional Experience
Lauryn has represented clients across a range of complex energy and infrastructure transactions. She has advised Jupiter Power in an agreement with Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. to supply services including equipment provision, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and energy management for two battery storage projects: a 100MW battery storage energy system in Fort Stockton, Texas, and a 10MW system in Carpinteria, California. She has also represented a leading U.S. solar developer in its merger with a Fortune 500 global energy company.
Her experience includes representing purchasers and developers in the acquisition of solar and wind energy projects, including membership interests in solar facilities with battery energy storage and a 197 MW development-stage wind energy facility. She has also advised on engineering, procurement, and construction agreements for multiple battery storage projects, including balance-of-plant construction arrangements.
Additionally, Lauryn has represented BCPG Public Company Limited in the acquisition of a cycle power generating portfolio from Carlyle, IRG Acquisition Holdings in the purchase of a 1,365 MW wind and solar portfolio from American Electric Power, and Perennial Power Holdings in a joint venture transaction to form Perennial Renewables LLC, focused on solar power generation.
She has also represented the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation on a $1 billion debt financing to support vaccine procurement under COVAX AMC, and advised on an equity financing to launch a large-scale clean hydrogen pipeline transportation and salt cavern storage platform.
