Lynn E. Roberts III is an award-winning intellectual property attorney, governance strategist, and Founder of Roberts Legal Group (RLG), where he advises entrepreneurs, creatives, and emerging enterprises on trademark protection, brand strategy, and long-term business growth across the Mid-Atlantic and Tri-State regions.
His practice is distinguished by a governance-first approach, integrating legal strategy, institutional decision-making, and policy awareness to support sustainable, community-rooted enterprise. Lynn regularly serves as outside general counsel to growing businesses, helping them build durable legal infrastructure and protect their intellectual property at scale.
He has been recognized nationally and regionally for his work, including honors from Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America (2026–2027), The Legal Intelligencer (Lawyers on the Fast Track, 2025), and Delaware Business Times 40 Under 40. He is also a member of The National Black Lawyers Top 100.
Lynn is a DiverseForce On Boards Fellow and currently serves in multiple governance and advisory roles, including leadership positions with the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League, Center for Families and Relationships (CFAR), Monday Club (MC917 Foundation), and the Pete duPont Freedom Foundation.
He is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration at the University of Pennsylvania Fels Institute of Government and holds degrees from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and North Carolina Central University School of Law.
