Mahogane Reed joined Susman Godfrey after completing federal judicial clerkships for Chief Judge Carl E. Stewart of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Brian A. Jackson of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.

She received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Louisiana Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Honors and Distinctions

Mahogane's honors and distinctions include serving as an Articles Editor for the Louisiana Law Review, receiving the Lee Hargrave Award and a Faculty Scholarship, and being recognized as a Hebert Scholar and Chancellor's Scholar. She was also a member of the Wex S. Malone Inns of Court and a Junior Member of the Louisiana State Law Institute.
