
Megan Wilson brings to the Education practice a unique ability to analyze issues from multiple perspectives in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients. Her professional background spans both education and law, including experience as a high school geometry teacher, mathematics department chair, law student and intern, Juvenile Justice Clinic student attorney, and regulatory lawyer.
Megan assists education clients with compliance across federal, state, and industry-specific requirements. She works with a wide range of education-related entities, including universities and colleges, school districts, education associations, and companies that invest in or operate within the education sector. She also regularly monitors industry developments to proactively advise clients on emerging regulations, innovations, and best practices.
In addition to her legal practice, Megan is deeply committed to community service and pro bono work focused on youth, education, and justice. She serves as a reading mentor to an elementary school student through the Everybody Wins! DC Power Lunch Program, volunteers with ninth-grade students through Thurgood Marshall Academy’s Law Day program, and advocates on behalf of individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
