Mercedez is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on advising issuers, underwriters, and private equity sponsors in connection with a broad spectrum of capital markets transactions. Her practice encompasses all facets of public and private offerings of securities, including secondary equity offerings. Mercedez works with companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, and fintech.
Mercedez has extensive experience with initial public offerings and follow-ons, block trades, SPAC and de-SPAC transactions, and liability management transactions. She also handles offerings of secondary equity, along with at-the-market transactions and private offerings. Clients also seek Mercedez’s counsel on SEC disclosures, governance, and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Mintz, Mercedez was a securities and capital markets associate at a global law firm.
While earning her JD, Mercedez served as the note editor for the Cornell International Law Journal.
