Moira is a partner with the firm who is also a licensed attorney on two continents. As a trial lawyer, she has been helping clients since she was first licensed as an attorney in 2003 when she was a lawyer with the Legal Defense & Assistance Project, a Non-Governmental Organization promoting the Rule of Law and Human Rights in Nigeria. There she specialized as a criminal law attorney helping defendants, often from low-income backgrounds, who were in jail while awaiting trial and would remain in jail for years while awaiting representation before their case can be heard.
