
Randall Ainsworth is a 2025 member of the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and was the inaugural Elijah Cummings Scholar at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
Randall focuses his practice primarily on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court, with an emphasis on corporate governance, corporate control, mergers and acquisitions, appraisal actions, fiduciary duties, and other complex commercial disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Randall worked for two years at McGuireWoods LLP, where he handled complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, and financial services litigation.
While in law school, Randall served as an associate editor on the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy. He was also a member of the Thurgood Marshall Trial Team, where he earned Best Advocate honors in the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial National Competition.

Randall earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2023. His honors include Best Advocate in the 2020–2021 Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition, Inaugural Elijah E. Cummings Scholar, Dean’s Scholar, Diversity and Inclusion Scholar, and William P. Cunningham Award Recipient.
He received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Philosophy and History from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2019.
