Robin Perry is recognized as one of Southern California’s premier attorneys. For more than 25 years, Mr. Perry has owned and led the Law Offices of Robin D. Perry & Associates, a boutique firm specializing in business law, personal injury, wrongful death, professional license defense, civil litigation, and criminal litigation. His firm has handled numerous high-profile cases and secured seven- and eight-figure resolutions for both individual and corporate clients. In acknowledgment of his exceptional ethical practice and professionalism, the Long Beach Bar Association named Mr. Perry “Lawyer of the Year” for 2024–2025.
Before establishing his own practice, Mr. Perry worked as a litigation attorney with a multinational law firm and served as a Deputy District Attorney, where he tried cases ranging from DUI to homicide. His dedication to community service is deeply rooted in his personal values and reflected in both his firm’s mission and his family’s longstanding commitment to civic engagement.
Mr. Perry is the immediate past President of the Long Beach Bar Association and the former Chair of the St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation. He has also served as President of the Long Beach Civil Service Commission and previously held the position of Secretary of the 100 Black Men of Long Beach. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, his law firm created and funded “Bixby Together,” a program that purchased gift cards from struggling Bixby Knolls restaurants and distributed them to frontline grocery clerks and postal workers. Mr. Perry also partnered with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office to help expunge hundreds of criminal convictions.
His work and his firm’s cases have been featured in numerous publications. Most recently, he was retained as a Civil Rights subject matter expert for The Nation magazine, the oldest continuously published national magazine in the United States.
Born in South Central Los Angeles and raised by a single mother, Mr. Perry went on to graduate from the University of California, Davis, where he earned his B.A. in Sociology: Law & Society. He then attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1995. While in law school, he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Advocacy. Mr. Perry is married, has two children, and enjoys traveling, reading, live music, and cycling.
