
Sabrina represents financial institutions, mortgage lenders and servicers in complex consumer financial services litigation, including foreclosure actions. She defends clients against alleged violations of consumer protection statutes, including the Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act (FAPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Home Owners Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Before joining Hinshaw, Sabrina was assistant corporation counsel at the New York City Law Department, where she represented the City in employment defense matters, including challenges to administrative decisions under special proceedings, state and federal discrimination claims, and wage and hour class actions. She also has private-practice experience focused on employment practices liability insurance defense.
