
Simone Yhap is a litigation associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where she focuses on Intellectual Property, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Life Sciences.
She earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2022, concentrating in Intellectual Property and Innovation. During law school, Simone served as the inaugural Chief Diversity Editor and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the Northeastern University Law Review, was a Corporate Counsel Women of Color fellow, and chaired the National Black Law Students Association. She also participated in the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, Intellectual Property Society, and Student Bar Association.
Simone graduated with honors from Howard University with a B.S. in Biology and a double minor in Political Science and Chemistry. She is admitted to the bars of New York and Massachusetts and is authorized to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
