Tyerra Henderson

Tyerra M. Henderson is an associate at the law firm of Petway, French & Ford, LLP, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Tyerra joined Petway, French & Ford as an Associate in February 2025. Prior to joining Petway, French & Ford, she served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office for five years, representing the state of Alabama in jury trials ranging from misdemeanor theft to Capital Murder occurring in Jefferson County.

Tyerra graduated from the Miles College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in international studies in 2016. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2019. While attending law school, Tyerra served as a law clerk for The Honorable Shanta Owens.
