Xavier E. Prather, also known as the "Reality TV Lawyer," prides himself on using his life experiences, both professional and personal, to help others. This dedication is reflected in the services he provides through LawyerLike in the areas of family law and entertainment/sports law.
Xavier received his undergraduate degree from Spring Arbor University, where he was a member of the men's basketball team. After college, Xavier obtained his law degree from Marquette University Law School. While there, he received his certification in sports law from the National Sports Law Institute, served as Articles Editor of the Marquette Sports Law Review, and completed internships for collegiate and professional sports organizations.
Growing up as a product of divorce, Xavier saw firsthand how emotional divorce and child custody matters can get. While at Marquette, he used his personal experience to propel his efforts in providing bono services to low-income, self-represented individuals dealing with stressful family law matters, for which he received multiple awards and recognitions.
After law school, Xavier worked as a transactional attorney for one of the largest business law firms in the region. There, he provided counsel to clients engaged in multimillion-dollar transactions and data privacy and cybersecurity-related matters.
Xavier's versatility extends beyond the legal realm. Since 2016, he has been a male model represented by top modeling agencies nationwide. His talent and charisma have earned him a place in the spotlight, appearing on multiple popular reality competition shows and even making a brief acting stint on The Bold & The Beautiful. When Xavier isn't working hard to put his clients in a position to be successful, he enjoys attending sporting events, playing basketball, exercising, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
