Ernestine Mings concentrates her practice on matrimonial and family law and also has extensive experience in civil rights litigation within both state and federal courts.

During law school, Ernestine served as a fellow for the Interdisciplinary Center for Child and Family Advocacy. She also received the Archibald R. Murray and Ruth Whitehead Whaley Awards for her dedication to public service.
Outside the Firm
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Ernestine owned and served as the sole practitioner of her law office in Brooklyn, New York. She presently resides in Westchester with her husband and two young children.

Ernestine is the Vice-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association and co-chair of the Diversity Committee of the New York Women’s Bar Association. She is also a member of the Haitian American Lawyers Association of New York, and the Matrimonial Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
